Job Description
Bitpanda is seeking an Intern to join their People Operations & Compliance team in Barcelona, Spain. This internship offers the chance to support the implementation of a regulatory compliance improvement plan following an internal assessment. The intern will gain hands-on experience in planning, coordinating, and executing key compliance-related initiatives, ensuring Bitpanda's operations in Spain align with internal standards and local labor regulations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and receive mentorship to design and drive an actionable roadmap, using agile project management methodologies.
What this role involves:
- Collaborating with the People, Legal, and Compliance teams to define a clear action plan based on internal audit findings.
- Coordinating cross-functional efforts across departments and geographies to ensure timely execution of the compliance plan.
- Conducting basic research and support the preparation of documentation aligned with Spanish labor laws and internal policies.
- Tracking progress, following up on action items, and contributing to process documentation and reporting.
Requirements:
- Completed degree in Law, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Native Spanish speaker with High level of English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Organized, proactive, and a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Interested in developing project management and compliance skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an eagerness to learn and take initiative.
