Senior QA Engineer (BTS)

Job Description

Bitpanda is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to validate its B2B product portfolio. The role involves ensuring the quality of trading functionalities and performance improvements, contributing to the future of investing. The candidate will be an integral part of the agile development workflow, advocating for testing and code quality within engineering teams.

What this role involves:
• Manual testing with Postman
• Automation testing with Java, Restassured, GraphQL, Playwright, and Allure
• Developing test ideas, scenarios, and experiments
• Writing and maintaining test cases at all levels of the stack (server-side and front end)
• Working with backend and frontend teams to ensure quality throughout the development life cycle
• Overseeing build and deployment activities

Requirements:
• 4+ years of QA engineer experience
• Solid understanding of QA processes and methodologies
• Understanding of QA responsibilities within an agile software development team/deployment processes
• Programming skills oriented either Java or Javascript
• Experience testing a variety of web services, APIs, and data
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
