Tech Lead, Analytics Engineering

Rockstar Games is seeking a passionate Tech Lead, Analytics Engineering to join their team in Manhattan, New York. This role involves working on large-scale creative projects within an inclusive and highly-motivated environment. The Tech Lead will be part of the Rockstar Analytics team, which provides insights and actionable results to stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Build and mentor a team of analytics engineers.
• Partner with data scientists and business stakeholders to understand analytical needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with the Data Integrity team to implement a Data Quality Framework.
• Manage Root Cause Analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Provide guidance to scale the architecture for future needs.
• Establish and promote best practices for code standards and documentation.
• Develop and support CI/CD processes.
• Maintain and expand standardized process alerts for data products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering, with 3+ years in management.
• Proven track record in architecting and optimizing large-scale data systems.
• Experience working in Databricks & Azure environment.
• Experience with pipeline scheduling tools like Airflow & Astronomer.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like TeamCity, Terraform, Github, Octopus.
• Knowledge of software coding practices across the development lifecycle.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python & 4+ years of hands-on experience in PySpark.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in using advanced SQL queries.
