AML Specialist

Job Description

OKX is seeking an AML Specialist to join its Compliance function in Sliema, Malta. The Compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. The successful candidate will have prior AML transaction monitoring and investigations experience in the financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries.This role involves:

• Conducting daily reviews and triage alerts utilizing real-time blockchain analytics monitoring, manual reports, or internal/external referrals.
• Reviewing potential matches against various regulatory watchlists and conduct additional research.
• Conducting regular risk assessments and monitoring suspicious transactions.
• Facilitating Requests for Information (RFIs) with cross-functional staff.
• Conducting research using internal and external sources.
• Creating, updating, and maintaining files and records.
• Working closely with other teams to ensure alignment with the company's overall compliance strategy.
• Assisting with the validation of the transaction monitoring system.

Requirements include:

• 3+ years experience in conducting AML-related account activity analysis, due diligence, and investigations in a financial services institution.
• Strong writing, analytical and communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter, organized, detail oriented, and results driven.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
