Job Description
Anaplan, a software company that is part of the Thoma Bravo portfolio, is seeking a Corporate Strategy Manager to join its Chief Strategy Office in New York City. This role involves working closely with the Chief Strategy Officer, CEO, and top executives to develop and drive company, product, functional, and regional strategy. The Corporate Strategy Manager will impact decisions across core functions, providing insights to key leaders and the board of directors.

Role Involves:
  • Leading and supporting strategy development and implementation.
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis for growth strategies and operational improvements.
  • Providing actionable strategy recommendations.
  • Serving as a thought partner for areas like GTM, product, and engineering.
  • Presenting findings to senior management and board members.
  • Supporting the strategic evaluation of M&A opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytic discipline.
  • Minimum two years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
  • Previous experience serving clients in SaaS or private equity (a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive quantitative and qualitative workstreams independently.
  • Strong communication skills for senior management.
  • Experience scoping and structuring strategy and operational projects.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience developing data-driven analysis.
  • Strong excel analysis skills, including modeling.
  • Ability to conceptually break down problems and propose solutions.
  • Ability to create clear, compelling presentations backed by analytical insight.
  • Clear thinking and writing skills.
  • Strong consultative, analytical, and strategic capability.
  • Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to learn Anaplan for analysis.
  • Ability to work with senior management.
