Job Description

Anaplan is seeking a Major Account Executive to focus on Financial Business Services. The Major Account Executive will sell Anaplan's versatile platform to industry leaders, helping them understand the impact of connected planning solutions. This role involves bridging the gap between financial and operational decision-making, driving digital transformation, and contributing to Anaplan's continued growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with financial services prospects to identify business process issues.
  • Conducting presentations to VP through C-level executives.
  • Developing and owning coordinated account and opportunity planning processes.
  • Applying Anaplan’s value-based selling methodology.
  • Identifying account expansion opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Performing strategic sales planning and accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborating with Sales Development Reps, Marketing, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success teams.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of consultative sales experience into Fortune 2000 companies, ideally in SaaS solutions.
  • Experience selling to C-suite executives.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, including multiple seven-figure ACV deals.
  • Strong executive network in the territory with customers and partners in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with partner and internal team organizations.
  • Business, Finance, Economics, or related BS/BA degree or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience selling into financial services (FSI) accounts.
  • Understanding of business challenges faced by financial services organizations.
