Principal Engagement Director (EPM)

Job Description

Anaplan is seeking a Principal Engagement Director to lead strategic customer engagements. This role involves working cross-functionally with customers, partners, and internal teams to coordinate, plan, and execute delivery engagements for new and existing Anaplan customers. The Principal Engagement Director will drive engagements, manage executive relationships, oversee program/project governance, and ensure alignment with customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Building executive relationships with customers and partners.
• Working cross-functionally to simplify complex implementation issues.
• Mastering and executing "The Anaplan Way" implementation methodology.
• Driving excellence throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Consolidating implementation delivery best practices.
• Overseeing and reporting on active customer implementations.
• Establishing relationships with and enabling key partners.
• Maintaining regular cadence calls with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned implementations.
• Leading customer-facing meetings.
• Collaborating with different personalities to align on key decisions.

Requirements:

• Proven Program/Project Manager experience at a Senior level or above.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Data-driven with a commitment to process.
• Inspiring program/project leader with a passion for delivery excellence.
• Strong ability to influence and manage cross-functional team members.
• Team player with the highest level of integrity.
• Experience in enterprise software project management, management consulting, or related fields.
• Passionate about technology and its business impact.
