Anaplan, recognized as a leader in Connected Planning by Gartner and Forrester, is seeking an energetic and persistent Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support its Japan business goals. This is a full-time, immediate-impact position where the candidate will exemplify professionalism, stakeholder communication, and results.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a crucial role, serving as the initial voice of Anaplan to prospective customers.

Role Involves:

  • Generating Sales Qualified Leads (SQL) through prospecting enterprise companies.
  • Identifying key stakeholders and building relationships with Anaplan's account team while understanding challenges and needs.
  • Following up promptly on leads acquired through marketing activities and event attendees.
  • Conducting outbound activities via phone, email, and digital channels to target market prospects.
  • Acquiring and practicing value-based conversation skills.
  • Collaborating with field sales to execute Account Based Sales Development strategies.
  • Striving to achieve weekly and monthly sales metrics (call volume, email volume, meeting setting, etc.).

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales or sales development, preferably with an enterprise SaaS/cloud application company.
  • Experience managing or leading an inside sales team in Japan is a plus.
  • Experience approaching CXOs and directors at enterprise companies is welcomed.
  • Interest in technology and a proactive attitude towards learning new sales tools.
  • Proven track record of generating pipeline and setting appointments.
  • High energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, responsibility, and professionalism.
  • Self-management skills to maintain high outbound call and email volumes.
  • Bachelor's degree.
