Research Analyst (Chinese)

Job Description

Diligent is seeking a Research Analyst to join their Investigative Analysis Group. The Research Analyst will conduct research in both English and Mandarin, utilizing publicly available online open sources and subscription sources to support investigative and intelligence cases for Diligent's clients.Responsibilities:

• Conduct research using online open sources, proprietary databases, and subscription sources.
• Analyze information for regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and investigative analysis.
• Compile, fact-check, and edit reports using various report templates.
• Assist with final review and uploads of due diligence reports.
• Conduct limited telephone inquiries for reference checks.
• Mentor new and existing Analysts and Editors.
• Adhere to quality assurance guidelines.

Requirements:

• Experience conducting research regarding Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABAC), Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money-Laundering (AML).
• Background in journalism, legal services and research.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international degree required.
