Diligent is seeking a Product Data Scientist to join their team in Budapest. The Data Scientist will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Diligent's SaaS products by applying technical skills, analytical mindset, and product intuition to a rich dataset. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners across various departments to identify and solve product development challenges, influence product strategy, and drive investment decisions with data.
The Product Data Scientist will use data to shape product development, quantify new opportunities, identify upcoming challenges, and ensure the products bring value to customers. They will help partner teams prioritize what to build, set goals, and understand their product's ecosystem. The role also involves guiding teams using data and insights, developing hypotheses, and employing rigorous analytical approaches to test them.

Role involves:- Working with large and complex data sets to solve challenging problems.
- Applying quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to develop product strategies.
- Identifying and measuring the success of product efforts through goal setting and monitoring key metrics.
- Defining, understanding, and testing opportunities to improve the product.
- Partnering with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform product strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of work experience in analytics and data querying languages (e.g. SQL).
- 4+ years of experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
