Senior Software Engineer in Test

Job Description

Diligent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join their team in Budapest. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Diligent's SaaS platform, which helps organizations manage governance, risk, and compliance.

The Senior Software Engineer in Test will be part of a Scrum team and will be primarily responsible for QA processes, focusing on creating and automating functional and end-to-end test cases, and identifying, reporting, and tracking defects. They will work closely with all members of the team to create and drive a successful automation strategy for a product, applying a shift-left approach and bringing a quality mindset early to the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering in test experience.
• Strong experience in a hands-on development in test role at a commercial software company.
• Excellent understanding of technologies like TypeScript, Playwright, and Angular Material.
• Experience in API and web development and testing.
• Experience with Microservices and Monolithic architecture
• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar discipline
