Director, Strategic Planning & Operations

Job Description

Metropolis is seeking a Director of Strategic Planning & Operations to act as a player-coach, working across transformation workstreams. The Director will drive problem-solving within assigned workstreams as an internal consultant and serve as the central link between the Workstream and the Transformation Organization.

Responsibilities include:
• Partnering with workstreams to deliver impact.
• Acting as the first point of contact for Work Stream Leaders.
• Supporting Work Stream Leaders in setting aspirations and driving impact.
• Problem-solving with Work Stream Leaders on overall workstream pipeline.
• Creating strong linkage between workstream and the Transformation Office.
• Reviewing SteerCo documents and summarizing key takeaways.

Requirements include:
• Experience managing teams through change.
• 3+ years in consulting, banking, or corporate development.
• Track record of delivering high-impact results.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pace environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
