Job Description
Figure is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting to lead financial reporting efforts and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for blockchain technology and an eye for accuracy. This role involves working with a rapidly growing start-up in the Fintech and lending exchange space.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks).
  • Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, including XBRL tagging.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements.
  • Review financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Mentor a team of accounting professionals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including executive management and external auditors.
  • Maintain SOX controls for external reporting.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, active CPA license a plus
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in an accounting function.
  • Mix of industry experience and public accounting strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and writing skills.
  • Strong people, project, and client management skills.
