Engineering Manager (Data Science & Data Engineering)

Alchemy is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Data Science and Data Engineering teams. This role is crucial for helping product teams and business leaders make informed decisions as the company and user base rapidly expand. The Engineering Manager will work closely with growth, product, engineering, and marketing teams to drive data-driven decisions.Alchemy's mission is to bring web3 to a billion people by providing builders with the tools they need to build exceptional onchain products. Its infrastructure powers a significant portion of the top web3 teams and major global brands.What this role involves:

• Growing and managing a team of data engineers and data scientists.
• Partnering with product teams and business leaders to identify high-impact projects.
• Leading the development and implementation of data pipelines and analyses.
• Evangelizing the use of data and AI across Alchemy.
• Building tools for self-serve data access.
• Developing expertise with on-chain data sources.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related domains.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Deep expertise in data pipelines, data science, and data tooling.
• Experience using AI tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with startups.
• Prefer experience with AWS, Snowflake, DBT, and Apache Superset.
• Prefer experience working in Web3.
