Job Description
ShipBob is seeking a Business Development Representative to develop logistical solutions for mid-market businesses. This role involves strategically constructing outreach and setting qualified meetings that convert to closed deals for Mid Market Account Executives. The Business Development Representative will report to the Manager, Business Development.
What this role involves:
- Identifying, researching, and qualifying new business opportunities weekly.
- Prospecting a prospect pipeline via high volume of outbound cold calls, emails and social selling.
- Researching and identifying potential enterprise customers.
- Engaging with decision-makers at target organizations and identifying their needs.
- Scheduling demos with potential merchants and Account Executives.
- Achieving daily activity requirements through outbound merchant contact and accurately tracking merchant interactions and information in the designated tracking system.
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitors, and the evolving needs of enterprise clients.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of demonstrated success in a sales environment targeting Mid Market accounts.
- Experience using ABM strategies.
- Experience selling over the phone and smart calling various types of businesses or merchants.
- Demonstrated diligence and accountability.
- Comfortable in a competitive environment.
- Relentless persistence.
- Aptitude for research and understanding data.
