Job Description

TIER-Dott, a leading European shared micro-mobility company, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Quality Intern to join their team in Amsterdam. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the company's mission of changing mobility for good.

The intern will play a crucial role in investigating field failures, maintaining a healthy test environment, and identifying improvement possibilities. This role involves working with test vehicles and test benches, as well as recommending additional test equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead investigations of field failures
  • Inspect and perform root cause analysis on broken parts
  • Review test reports from suppliers
  • Guide and implement solutions
  • Validate improved parts
  • Write SOPs
  • Maintain test vehicles and test benches
  • Keep workshops clean and tidy
  • Recommend additional test equipment
  • Identify improvement possibilities

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar course (Bachelors)
  • At least passed first year classes
  • Hands-on experience (working in a workshop)
  • Affinity with bikes/scooters/motorcycles is a plus
