Lead Fulfillment Associate 1st and 2nd shift

Job Description

ShipBob is looking for a Lead Fulfillment Associate to join their team in North Aurora, Illinois. The Fulfillment Associate will work within a team to deliver an incredible experience for ShipBob customers. The ideal candidate is dedicated, committed to excellence, and eager for career growth within a fast-growing company.

The Fulfillment Associate will be responsible for working within one of several teams:

• Receiving: Manages incoming inventory, ensures accurate storage, and communicates arrivals/exceptions.
• Picking: Retrieves products for the next stage of processing.
• Packing: Ensures the quality of each shipment and packs items correctly.
• Other Duties as Required: Helps out in other areas out of normal day to day responsibilities to ensure the operations are running efficiently.

Requirements:

• Able to work scheduled shifts including overtime, and/or weekends based on business needs and consistently arrive for work on time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without restriction.
• Able to stand and walk continuously during and up to a 8-10 hr shift.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach above, and push/pull frequently.
• May be required to help out in other departments as needed.
• Willing to get hands dirty to get a task completed.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Ability to quickly understand new processes and identify operational opportunities.
• Looking to get foot in the door with a rapidly growing start-up company.
• Must be 18 or older.
