Account Manager

Job Description

Adyen is seeking an Account Manager to join their team in Sydney. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The Account Manager will play a critical role in the growth and success of Adyen's business by managing relationships with international merchants across various industries.

The Account Manager will work on cross-functional initiatives, drive commercial growth, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. They will collaborate with other Account Managers, the Technical and Product teams, and internal support teams to achieve mutual success for Adyen and its customers.

What this role involves:

• Collaboration with other Account Managers on various accounts.
• Relationship management with a focus on commercial growth, customer satisfaction, and reducing churn.
• Driving commercial discussions and meeting strategic and financial targets.
• Prioritizing and managing short and long-term projects across multiple accounts.
• Working with Technical and Product teams to manage merchant integration and identify improvements.
• Serving as a feedback loop for customers internally.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing, commercial role (e.g., account management, consulting, or payments industry).
• Strategic thinking and project management skills.
• Ability to lead and manage time-sensitive, cross-functional initiatives.
• Passion for working on a wide portfolio of accounts.
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Technical interest, knowledge, and understanding.
• Domestic and international travel is required
