Adyen is seeking a Manager for their Pooled Account Management team in Berlin. This role involves leading and mentoring managers and their teams, focusing on growing strategic merchant relationships and payments revenue. The ideal candidate will streamline team operations, foster collaboration, and engage with executives. They will also contribute to the company culture and develop future leaders.
Role Involves: - Demonstrating value and driving commercial growth for merchants.
- Accelerating product adoption.
- Consulting and training key stakeholders.
- Building strong relationships with merchants.
- Collaborating with other teams to develop new features.
- Managing time-sensitive, cross-functional projects.
- Coaching, motivating, and managing workload for the team.
- Leading merchant escalation calls and critical negotiations when needed.
Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing B2B role (Account Management/Customer Success/Sales preferred).
- 4+ years of experience managing people.
- Experience in the Payment industry is a plus.
- Experience in leading hiring processes.
- Technical aptitude and understanding of products & industry.
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proven commercial edge and strong negotiation skills.
- Fluency in both German and English.
