Job Description
Adyen is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Manager to join their team in New York. Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The ideal candidate will manage relationships with innovative international merchants, covering multiple industries and channels. They will work on cross-functional initiatives and projects in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment with high autonomy.
What this role involves:
- Relationship management: Build deep trusting relationships with decision makers and executives on our most strategic accounts.
- Commercial acumen: Drive commercial negotiations with customers to win new business and close complex deals.
- Strategic consultation: Act as the human dimension of Adyen’s product by delivering payments expertise and guidance to customers.
- Leadership: Be a senior presence and source of knowledge on the team, and help others level up through training and mentorship.
- Project management: Be proactive and prioritize across multiple projects and teams to ensure thorough execution on cross-regional projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Feedback: Advocate and champion for your customers internally and serve as a feedback loop to influence Adyen’s product roadmap.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a client-facing, commercial role.
- Strong background in complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services.
- Full professional written and verbal proficiency in English.
- Passion for leading strategic payments conversations.
- Highly skilled in leveraging business acumen and analytical abilities.
- Proactive and skilled at managing multiple cross-functional projects.
