Financial Risk Analyst

Job Description

Adyen is seeking a Financial Risk Analyst to join their team in Singapore. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies. The Financial Risk Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and managing financial risk, specifically chargebacks, arising from a portfolio of enterprise merchants, as well as analyzing the risk of new products. The ideal candidate will help scale and innovate Adyen’s financial risk management framework and processes, working closely with Commercial, Product, and Legal teams, and collaborating with major merchants on the Adyen platform.Role involves:

• Assessing and analyzing merchant business models and financial health.
• Providing credit risk advice to the Adyen credit risk committee.
• Driving continuous improvement in the risk management framework.
• Leading projects and collaborating with various teams.
• Sharing credit risk knowledge with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Sharing Adyen’s approach to credit risk management with merchants, commercial teams, and regulators.

Requirements:

• Up to 3 years of working experience in a financial risk environment.
• Keen interest in business and financial markets.
• Strong financial statement analysis skills.
• Broad perspective and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
• University degree preferred in business economics, accounting, or finance.
