Job Description
Adyen is seeking an Implementation Engineer to assist prospective and current merchants in integrating or enhancing their existing payment integrations. This role is based in Shanghai and involves potential travel across Asia and globally. Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution.

Role involves:
  • Creating scalable solutions for merchant integrations.
  • Serving as a consultative partner for merchants.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Overseeing project delivery and ensuring technical integrity.
  • Providing consultation on optimizing payment solutions.

Requirements:
  • 1-4 years of technical consultative experience with Web API solutions.
  • Experience with front-end web languages (Javascript, Java, HTML, Python, CSS).
  • Ability to learn new technologies and understand complex systems.
  • Knowledge of REST or similar API protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in payments/fintech is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is required.
