Implementation Engineer

Job Description

Adyen is seeking an Implementation Engineer to join their team in Munich. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of technology, integration design, and project management, with a strong focus on the merchant experience.

In this role, the Implementation Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for merchant technical teams, guiding them through the integration process with Adyen's platform. They will work on diverse projects involving e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and card issuing programs, ensuring a smooth implementation and maintaining open communication with merchants and internal teams.

What this role involves:

• Creating scalable and robust solutions for merchant integrations.
• Serving as a consultative partner for merchants in e-commerce, point of sale, and multi-faceted platforms.
• Collaborating with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Overseeing high-quality project delivery and the technical integrity of merchant integrations.
• Providing consultation on optimising payment solutions.
• Analysing and troubleshooting code.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience integrating with Web APIs or providing technical consultation for such integrations.
• C1 Level proficiency in both English and German.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to identify and communicate pragmatic solutions to complex integration problems.
• Experience in the payments landscape is a plus.
