Job Description
Adyen is seeking an Implementation Engineer to manage new implementations and enhancements for existing customers. The role involves owning pre-sales calls for a growing portfolio of merchants. This person will work with Adyen's largest global merchants to provide solutions, consultation, troubleshooting, and implementation of scalable technical integrations. Based in New York, the ideal candidate should be both consultative and technical.

Role involves:
  • Creating scalable solutions for merchant integrations.
  • Serving as a consultative partner for e-commerce, point of sale, and multi-faceted platforms.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Overseeing high-quality project delivery.
  • Consulting on optimizing payment solutions.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience integrating with Web APIs.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex systems.
  • Experience with distributed systems and database design.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to identify pragmatic solutions to complex integration problems.
