Senior Financial Writer

Job Description

Adyen is seeking a Senior Financial Writer to join their Communications team in Amsterdam. The Communications team is responsible for Adyen’s global communications strategy, encompassing the company's global positioning, reputation, and stakeholder management.This role involves crafting high-profile financial corporate content, including the Shareholder Letter, and shaping how Adyen’s performance and strategy are communicated to investors and the broader market. The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker with exceptional writing skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.What this role involves:

• Taking ownership of key financial communication projects.
• Drafting the Shareholder Letter twice a year.
• Supporting the production of Adyen’s Annual Report.
• Writing and editing materials for Adyen’s Investor Day and Investor blog.
• Collaborating with senior leadership, Investor Relations, Financial Reporting, and PR & Marketing teams.
• Producing high-quality materials such as FAQ documents, press briefings, and presentation decks.

Requirements:

• Native-level written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to distill complex financial data into simple language.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working with executive leadership.
• Experience in financial communications, journalism, or copywriting.
