Senior Compliance Monitoring Officer

Adyen is seeking a Senior Compliance Monitoring Officer to join their Compliance team in Amsterdam. Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for global customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in compliance monitoring within the payments or finance industry and possess strong risk and control fundamentals. They will act as a business partner, collaborating with various teams, and provide guidance on compliance process improvements.

Role involves:

• Leading the annual compliance monitoring program.
• Developing a monitoring methodology for first-line business processes.
• Supervising team members in quality assurance testing.
• Creating and executing new quality assurance programs.
• Driving data-driven monitoring solutions.
• Coordinating enhanced monitoring activities and remediations.
• Collaborating on the development of the compliance program.
• Advising the business on compliance procedure enhancements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a senior role within a second-line compliance or audit function.
• Well-established knowledge of the finance and/or payment industry.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter able to lead multiple initiatives.
• Excitement about working with an international team.
