Job Description
Adyen is seeking an Internal Control Specialist to join their Amsterdam office, focusing on financial risk. The successful candidate will become part of the global Internal Control team, contributing to Adyen's sustainable growth. This role involves assessing and strengthening Adyen’s global financial and reporting processes and controls.

Role involves:
  • Strengthening the internal control framework.
  • Evaluating financial and reporting processes and controls.
  • Performing independent review and testing of controls.
  • Identifying and evaluating control deficiencies.
  • Managing requests from auditors.
  • Creating a network and being an advisor for the business.
  • Collaborating with Internal Control team peers.

Requirements:
  • Relevant working experience (3+ years) within an external audit, risk management, or internal control function.
  • Able to apply base-level knowledge of designing and testing internal controls.
  • Critical thinking skills and eagerness to solve challenges.
  • Eagerness to work in an innovative technology company within the financial sector.
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
