Job Description
Adyen is seeking a Regulatory Counsel - Product to join its EMEA Regulatory team in Amsterdam. Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for global customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in the payments, financial services, or fintech industry within the EMEA region. This role involves collaborating with global product teams to launch new financial and payment products, enhance existing offerings, and provide regulatory advice on financial services law and banking regulations.

What this role involves:
  • Collaborating with product teams to understand commercial and technical needs.
  • Anticipating and addressing key regulatory risks.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve products and challenge interpretations.
  • Providing regulatory advice on financial services law and banking regulations.
  • Coordinating with external counsel to scope regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience providing regulatory advice related to EU/UK financial regulatory laws.
  • Ability to understand complex product and regulatory challenges.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Awareness of relevant risks and their impact.
  • Strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
  • LLM degree from an EU country or the UK.
