Skylo Technologies is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to oversee and track engineering projects within the telecommunications sector, focusing on RAN, Core Networks, and external collaborations. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, engaging with vendors and stakeholders, and proactively identifying and resolving potential challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in networking and telecommunications, along with excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders informed of project statuses.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day project activities and ensuring timely completion from planning to delivery.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for external customers and vendors, addressing inquiries and providing project status updates.
  • Driving non-engineering tasks such as hosting meetings and addressing queries from various teams.
  • Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Working cross-functionally to develop and refine project timelines and product requirements.
  • Conducting post-project evaluations to gather feedback and implement process improvements.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Telecommunications or Computer Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in project and engineering program management within the telecommunications or wireless industry.
  • Expertise in projects across Core, RAN, and other telecom technologies.
  • Proficiency in waterfall, scrum, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with program management tools such as JIRA.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
