Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Description

Adyen is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in Chicago. Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft.He/she will be part of the Issuing group, creating or enhancing the user interface of all Issuing products for both internal users and merchants. The candidate will be responsible for the full life cycle of their developments, including communicating with stakeholders, testing, iterating purposefully, and monitoring the impact of their projects.

• Contribute to the interfaces of Adyen's fast-growing platform.
• Create or enhance the user interface of all Issuing products.
• Communicate with stakeholders (product owners, product designers, account managers, merchants e.g.).
• Test, iterate purposefully, and monitor the impact of projects.
• Identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more consistent, robust, and scalable.
• Collaborate across products and time zones.

• Experience with building things in JavaScript and using a framework (Vue.js or Preact is a plus).
• Align with the Adyen Formula: being open minded, having a proactive attitude.
• Comfortable with asking and receiving constructive feedback.
• Able to independently gather technical requirements and create a plan to execute those requirements.
• Not allergic to backend code.
• A strong team player.

• Annual base salary range of $180,000 - $243,000.
