Security Culture Specialist

Job Description

Adyen is seeking a Security Culture Specialist to join their Security Team in Amsterdam. Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for global customers. The Security Team is responsible for designing and implementing security strategies, developing security controls, and building a strong security culture.This role involves taking ownership of Adyen’s security culture program, iterating on security training content, aligning training efforts with other teams, measuring the impact of security activities, understanding security risks, and contributing to the visibility of the Security Team.

• Take ownership and drive improvements in the maturity and scalability of Adyen’s security culture program
• Iterate on our security training content for all Adyen employees and new joiners
• Work with other teams (e.g., Learning & Development, Data Privacy, Compliance) to align training and awareness efforts
• Measure and evaluate the impact of our security culture activities and iterate accordingly
• Understand the challenges and security risks that different teams and people in Adyen face, and come up with creative solutions for how the Security Team can better support them
• Identify and keep us up to date on emerging information security risks and come up with effective ways to address them
• Contribute to the visibility and approachability of the Security Team as a whole

Requirements include:

• 3+ years of experience in building a strong security culture in a tech-driven business
• A good understanding of what drives people and how to achieve behavior change
• Experience sharing knowledge and driving change
• Strong communication skills with technical and commercial teams
• Talent for spotting risks and creating effective solutions
• Background in or strong affiliation with information security topics
