Lightspeed is seeking a Field Implementation Consultant to join their team in Hamburg. This role involves the installation, technical support, and on-site support of Lightspeed's Point-of-Sale products within the gastronomy and hospitality sectors, including restaurants, hotels, and bars. The consultant will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth implementation of products, assisting strategic clients in optimizing their usage, and representing Lightspeed in Germany.
The Field Implementation Consultant will utilize their industry knowledge to showcase the product effectively and expand the customer base through excellent service. They will also undertake projects aimed at optimizing and further developing processes to ensure the best possible customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing on-site support, including hardware installation and technical assistance
- Organizing and conducting training sessions for business owners, management teams, and staff on using the POS system
- Assisting clients with system setup and on-site integration
- Installing and troubleshooting network devices, including routers and WLAN access points
- Documenting installation processes, network information, and technical details
- Coordinating projects and reporting progress
- Managing hardware components and ensuring availability for appointments
- Planning efficient schedules
- Providing support and maintaining communication with the development team
- Representing Lightspeed to new and existing clients
- Employing troubleshooting techniques to address technical challenges
- Collaborating with team members from Launch & Professional Services to deliver optimal customer service
The ideal candidate possesses:
- Experience in the gastronomy or hospitality industry
- Technical understanding and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing multiple client projects
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Self-motivated and organized
- Fluency in German and English
