Job Description
Precision for Medicine is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to drive sales and marketing activities for clinical trials on the East Coast. This role involves serving as the primary contact for external clients and partners, advancing the company's business objectives.
  • Designing and implementing a sales plan to secure new and repeat business.
  • Identifying leads and qualifying targeted sponsors in oncology, rare disease, neurology, and central nervous system.
  • Conducting introductory and follow-up meetings with prospective clients.
  • Securing RFPs and collaborating with the Business Operations/Proposal Team to create proposals.
  • Coordinating with the Leadership Team to leverage expertise and bring in new business.
  • Representing the company at trade shows and client-sponsored events.
  • Working with Marketing to implement a program supporting sales efforts.
  • Maintaining relationships with partner organizations.
  • Updating Salesforce and business plans.
  • Providing feedback to the Leadership Team on pricing, competitiveness, and market conditions.
  • Maintaining close contact with key Sponsor personnel.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry, including Director-level experience.
  • Proven track record in securing and winning new business.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
