Lightspeed is looking for a Field Implementation Consultant to join their team in Berlin. The consultant will be responsible for the installation, technical support, and on-site support of Lightspeed's Point-of-Sale products in the gastronomy and hotel industry. He/she will play a crucial role in the smooth introduction of the products whilst supporting strategic customers in their optimal usage.

The role involves:

  • Traveling to customers to support them with hardware installation and technical questions.
  • Organizing and conducting training sessions for business owners, management teams, and employees on using the POS system.
  • Assisting customers with the setup and integration of systems on-site.
  • Installing and troubleshooting network devices, including routers and WLAN access points.
  • Documenting installation processes, network information, and technical details of customers.
  • Reporting on the progress of installations to the Team Lead and installations coordinator.
  • Ensuring that all necessary hardware components are available before the customer appointment.
  • Planning assignments efficiently in collaboration with the installations coordinator.
  • Exchanging directly with the development team on current and ongoing product and customer concerns.
  • Representing Lightspeed and the company to new and existing customers.
  • Using proven troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify technical challenges of customers and offer suitable solutions.
  • Working closely with other team members from the Launch & Professional Services areas to ensure the best possible customer service.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the gastronomy or hotel industry (e.g., restaurants, hotels) and enjoy providing optimal support to customers.
  • Technical understanding and the ability to quickly analyze and solve problems.
  • Experience in managing multiple customer projects in various phases of implementation.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with the Field Sales Team to provide customers with a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Independent, organized, and motivated way of working.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
