Lightspeed is seeking a Field Implementation Consultant to join their team in Köln/Bonn/Düsseldorf. This role involves installing, providing technical support, and offering on-site assistance for Lightspeed's point-of-sale products in the gastronomy and hospitality sectors. The consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth implementation of products, supporting strategic clients in optimal usage, and representing Lightspeed in Germany.
The Field Implementation Consultant will also contribute to projects aimed at optimizing and further developing processes to ensure the best possible customer experience.
Role Involves:
- Traveling to customer locations to assist with hardware installation and provide technical support.
- Organizing and conducting training sessions for business owners, management teams, and employees on using the POS system.
- Assisting customers with the setup and integration of systems on-site.
- Installing and troubleshooting network devices, including routers and WLAN access points.
- Documenting installation processes, network information, and technical details of customers.
- Reporting on the progress of installations to the Team Lead and Installation Coordinator.
- Ensuring all necessary hardware components are available before customer appointments.
- Planning deployments efficiently in collaboration with the Installation Coordinator.
- Maintaining direct communication with the development team regarding current and ongoing product and customer concerns.
- Representing Lightspeed to new and existing customers.
- Using proven troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify technical challenges and offer appropriate solutions.
- Collaborating with team members from Launch & Professional Services to ensure the best possible customer service.
Requirements:
- Experience in the gastronomy or hospitality industry (e.g., restaurants, hotels) and a passion for providing optimal customer support.
- Technical understanding and the ability to quickly analyze and solve problems.
- Experience in managing multiple customer projects in various phases of implementation.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with the Field Sales Team to provide customers with a smooth onboarding experience.
- Independent, organized, and motivated work style.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Interest in new technologies (advantageous).
- Experience with technical or hardware installation and support (advantageous).
- Basic knowledge of network technology (advantageous).
- Experience with POS systems, SaaS products, and software solutions (advantageous).
