Lightspeed is seeking a Field Implementation Consultant to join their team in Munich. This individual will be responsible for the installation, technical support, and on-site assistance of Lightspeed's Point-of-Sale products in the gastronomy and hospitality industry, serving restaurants, hotels, and bars. The consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth implementation of products, supporting strategic clients in their optimal use, and representing Lightspeed in Germany. They will leverage their industry knowledge to showcase the product effectively and expand the customer base through excellent service. Additionally, they will undertake projects to optimize and further develop processes to ensure the best possible customer experience.

Role Involves:

  • Providing on-site support to clients, assisting with hardware installation, and addressing technical questions.
  • Organizing and conducting training sessions for business owners, management teams, and employees on using the POS system.
  • Assisting clients with the setup and integration of systems on-site.
  • Installing and troubleshooting network devices, including routers and WLAN access points.
  • Capturing and documenting installation processes, network information, and technical details of clients.
  • Reporting on the progress of installations to the Team Lead and Installation Coordinator.
  • Ensuring all necessary hardware components are available before customer appointments.
  • Planning deployments efficiently in cooperation with the Installation Coordinator.
  • Exchanging directly with Lightspeed's development team on current and ongoing product and customer concerns.
  • Representing Lightspeed to new and existing customers.
  • Utilizing troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify technical challenges and provide solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with team members from Launch & Professional Services to ensure the best possible customer service.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the gastronomy or hospitality industry and enthusiasm for providing optimal customer support.
  • Technical understanding and the ability to analyze and solve problems quickly.
  • Experience in managing multiple customer projects in various phases of implementation.
  • Team skills and ability to collaborate with the Field Sales Team to provide customers with a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Independent, organized, and motivated way of working.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
