Financial Controller, Benelux

Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment Benelux (SIEB) is seeking a proactive Financial Controller to join their dynamic and international environment. The Financial Controller will be based in Hilversum and work at the heart of the gaming industry with well-known studios. This role involves working closely with the Manager Financial Control SIE Benelux and impacting multiple entities within Sony.

Role Involves:

• Supervising the financial administration of Nixxes Software B.V. and being responsible for SIEB (BE branch).
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings for multiple entities.
• Working with planning and reporting tools such as Anaplan and Adaptive.
• Answering technical accounting questions and preparing reports for stakeholders.
• Providing support with POs, orders, and GR management.
• Being responsible for payroll in Belgium.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Education in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Several years of experience in a similar role within an international environment.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
• Experience with SAP and preferably also SRM, BOBJ, and Concur.
• Affinity with planning systems and good analytical skills.
• Energetic and proactive approach with leadership skills.
• Comfortable in a rapidly changing organization and enjoys solving complex issues.
