Job Description
Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Dublin, Ireland, and contribute to the development of in-house applications. The candidate will be responsible for creating seamless and secure solutions and ensuring the delivery of exceptional user experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop creative solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will:
  • Architect, design, and develop RESTful API Endpoints.
  • Collaborate with Front-End Engineers to develop web applications.
  • Define Data Models and manage databases.
  • Create and maintain application documentation.
  • Provide accurate timelines for tasks.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Mentor junior team members.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • 5+ years of experience with complex code bases.
  • Experience in Full Stack development.
  • Experience with Java, Go, or Python.
  • Experience in REST API design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, Ember.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
