Accela is seeking a Manager, Software Test Engineering to lead test engineering efforts and manage a team in Costa Rica. The role focuses on product quality, engineering productivity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. It requires understanding customer experience and improving product quality.
Role Involves:
- Leading and managing a team of test engineers.
- Collaborating with Development, Product Managers, and Cloud Engineering.
- Providing technical guidance and support to the team.
- Designing and automating API and UI testing.
- Integrating test cycles with CI/CD pipeline.
- Fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Leading test efforts for Civic Platform products.
- Promoting a harmonious working environment.
- Establishing goals and measurement practices.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Test Engineering experience.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience collaborating with teams in different countries.
- Experience working with product-based companies in an agile environment.
- Experience architecting testing solutions for scalable applications.
- Knowledge of SaaS-based applications and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience building enterprise-level test suites.
- Experience working with Java platforms, API management, and mobile applications.
- Strong debugging, monitoring, and optimization skills.
- Expertise in identifying performance issues within J2EE/.NET architecture.
- Experience in defining OKRs and KPIs.
