Lightspeed is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager in Montreal. The Marketing Operations Manager will report to the Senior Director of Marketing Operations and will be responsible for the creation, review, and revising of standardized processes that support the efficient delivery of marketing initiatives. The role focuses on optimizing workflows for creative asset creation, campaign planning, and other projects requiring cross-functional coordination with the Marketing team.
What this role involves:
- Developing and implementing streamlined workflows and processes for creative asset production, campaign planning, and other Marketing functions requiring cross-functional collaboration.
- Reviewing existing processes, identifying gaps or inefficiencies, and proposing improvements to enhance productivity and communication across Marketing departments.
- Partnering with Creative, Content, Growth, and Product Marketing teams to understand unique process needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Acting as the project manager for large-scale process initiatives, setting milestones, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of project deliverables.
- Defining and maintaining project management templates and tools to facilitate effective planning and tracking of marketing activities.
- Providing training and support for Marketing team members on updated processes, ensuring smooth adoption and ongoing adherence.
- Monitoring key metrics to assess the effectiveness of new processes and workflows, using data to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with technology teams to implement tools that support process automation and reporting, ensuring alignment with Marketing’s goals and objectives.
- Maintaining process documentation and guidelines, creating a knowledge base for the Marketing Operations team and related stakeholders.
Requirements for this role:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or a similar role, with a focus on process optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing cross-functional processes in a Marketing or Go-To-Market environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Trello, Wrike, or similar platforms.
- Lean, Six Sigma or similar process improvement certifications are a plus.
