YipitData, a market research and analytics firm, is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive growth within the investment field. This role involves identifying opportunities and engaging prospective clients through various outbound channels. The Sales Development Representative will also qualify inbound leads and collaborate with marketing to optimize the sales process. Career progression leads to Sales Associate and Sales Executive positions.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing outbound sales skills using cold calling, emailing, and direct mail.
  • Managing the inbound sales process and delivering the YipitData value proposition.
  • Working with Hedge Funds and Investment Managers.
  • Collaborating with Marketing to optimize opportunity conversion.
  • Mapping organizational structures of leading Hedge Funds and Investment Managers.
  • Developing skills across sales technology tools.

Requirements:
  • 1+ year in a high velocity sales environment.
  • Empathetic with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Grit and ability to handle rejection.
  • Resourceful and coachable.
  • Excited by understanding the needs of investment professionals.
  • Positive outlook and sound judgment.
