Job Description
Sand Technologies is seeking a Business Development & Solutions Director to drive growth in its logistics practice. This role blends business development with solutions architecture, requiring deep expertise in supply chain and client relationship management.
The role involves approximately 60-70% business development and 30-40% solutions architecture and consulting. The candidate will work closely with both internal teams and external clients, building trust and fostering long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in logistics and supply chain.
- Building and nurturing client relationships.
- Leading sales efforts and developing proposals.
- Designing tailored supply chain and logistics solutions.
- Drafting high-level solution architectures and statements of work.
- Contributing to the development of service offerings and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related.
- 7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain consulting, or related.
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Deep understanding of logistics operations and supply chain optimization.
- Familiarity with supply chain technology platforms.
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
