Lightspeed is seeking a Revenue Analyst to join their team in Montreal. The Revenue Analyst will report to the Manager of Revenue Accounting and will be responsible for contributing to the company's decision-making processes by analyzing and optimizing operational data. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.

Role Involves:

  • Dealing specifically with Software & Hardware Revenue line
  • Maintaining/assimilating and building complex workbooks
  • Analyzing trends/issues and explaining variances to management
  • Introducing controls & quality checks
  • Conducting data quality analysis and system performance assessments
  • Executing tasks related to audits
  • Managing revenue recognition for software and hardware bundles
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess financial impact and reporting accuracy

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of Audit background
  • Passed CFE (Common Final Exam) and either received CPA or in-progress
  • Extensive experience using MS-Excel
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, French is an asset
