Job Description
Carta is seeking a GTM Strategy Manager to join its Strategy & Business Operations team. This role will focus on driving scalable revenue growth by defining, optimizing, and executing foundational sales and GTM strategies for the Private Equity or Venture Capital business. The GTM Strategy Manager will partner closely with business leaders across sales, marketing, product, and operations.Responsibilities:
  • Drive insights to improve sales strategies and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Lead strategic planning for the business unit, including segmentation, coverage models, headcount planning, pipeline targets, compensation, and forecasting.
  • Maintain a pulse on the external market and derive implications for strategy.
  • Support and enhance executive and business-unit reporting.
  • Partner with sales and marketing stakeholders to understand and drive improvements across KPIs.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in sales strategy, business operations, investment banking, strategy consulting, high-growth SaaS, or a related field.
  • Robust analytical skill set with experience driving sales insights across a modern data stack.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in tools such as SQL and Excel.
  • Exposure to private equity, venture capital, or fintech is a plus.
  • Learning mindset and motivation to work collaboratively in a fast-paced culture.
  • Superior problem-solving, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of overall business operations and project management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
