Service Technician

Job Description

Roofstock is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the excellent condition of rental properties in Union City, Georgia. This role requires a self-motivated, customer-focused, and technically skilled individual who can efficiently manage multiple properties.Roofstock's mission is to make real estate investing radically accessible, cost-effective, and simple. The company has a collaborative culture and has grown through acquisitions and a Series E funding round.Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, units, and homes.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on apartments and single-family homes.
• Ensure HVAC systems are functioning correctly.
• Complete internally managed service requests.
• Prepare vacant units for new move-ins.
• Perform quality assurance inspections of vendor work.
• Remove and dispose of trash as needed.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Respond to on-call and after-hours emergencies.
• Ensure safety and serve as Roofstock’s ambassador.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Two or more years of building maintenance experience.
• Proficiency with tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Tech-savviness.
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to work independently and a flexible schedule.
