Amplitude is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of their Session Replay product. This role is crucial for unifying qualitative and quantitative analytics within Amplitude's platform. The Software Engineering Manager will collaborate with product and design teams to understand customer needs, develop a strategic roadmap, and actively contribute to bringing the vision to life. Role Involves:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
  • Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Prior experience with Session Replay as a tool and its applications.
  • Experience with AWS and modern software architectures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, think rigorously, communicate effectively, and navigate complex trade-offs.
  • Thrives in an ambiguous, high-autonomy environment with a high level of responsibility.
