Job Description
Amplitude is seeking a Senior Product Engineer, Growth to join their team in San Francisco. The Growth Engineering team focuses on applying product, engineering, and data to drive Amplitude's growth. This role involves building features, infrastructure, and experiments to maximize user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. The Senior Product Engineer will work across the entire stack, contributing to Amplitude's products (Analytics, Experiment, CDP).

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of projects.
  • Work across the entire stack using Typescript, React + Redux, CSS Modules, GraphQL, Node, Python, Postgres, and MySQL.
  • Design and implement features and improvements in all of Amplitude’s products.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Amplitude based on research, data, creativity, and user feedback.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with product and design teams.
  • Lead engineering discussions and mentor others on engineering best practices.
  • Design analytics taxonomy & implement analytics tracking.

Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding and experience with one or more JavaScript application frameworks (React/Redux, Angular, Backbone, etc.).
  • Bias for action.
  • Enjoy working closely with Design and Product Management.
  • Growth mindset.
