Amplitude is seeking a Senior Customer Data Scientist to join their Experiment team. This role offers the opportunity to influence Amplitude's product with expertise in statistical methodologies and experimentation best practices. The Senior Customer Data Scientist will work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to help businesses transform their products through data and experimentation. This role involves providing strategic advice to customers, partners, and internal teams, as well as contributing to Amplitude's vision and product strategy for experimentation.
Role involves:
Providing strategic advice and insights to customers on experimentation best practices.
Collaborating with Account Executives and Solution Engineers on customer presentations.
Partnering with Product and Go-to-Market teams to develop Amplitude's product strategy.
Creating compelling content and delivering educational initiatives.
Representing Amplitude at conferences and trade shows.
Requirements:
A masters or Ph.D. degree in computer science, mathematics, or related areas.
Extensive research/project experience in data science, experimentation, or digital product optimization.
Experience building and using data pipelines in data warehouse environments.
Proficiency with Python and SQL.
5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
Familiarity with the Experimentation space and experimentation products.
