Senior Solutions Engineer, Strategic Accounts - West Region

Job Description

Amplitude is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their Strategic Accounts team in the West Region. In this role, the individual will be responsible for helping prospects and customers understand the power of the Amplitude platform. They will work with product and marketing leaders, analytics owners, and engineering teams from various companies. The Senior Solutions Engineer will drive business and technical discovery sessions, lead proofs of concept, and position Amplitude’s value. They will also serve as the voice of the market internally at Amplitude, developing and maintaining relationships with technical stakeholders.Role involves:

• Developing relationships with technical stakeholders.
• Functioning as a subject matter expert on Amplitude’s products.
• Identifying pain points and defining solutions.
• Developing custom presentations and demonstrations.
• Supporting trial periods with potential customers.
• Documenting product feedback and new requirements.
• Traveling to customer on-sites.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software pre-sales or solution engineering experience.
• Background in cloud infrastructure, digital analytics, product analytics, marketing analytics, data analysis, experimentation, and/or hands-on experience with SQL and BI Tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
