Job Description
Aspire is seeking an Associate PR & Communications Director to lead its PR efforts and build brand awareness internationally. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of PR at Aspire and drive the strategy for product news and PR campaigns. The ideal candidate will be an experienced PR leader with a strong understanding of the B2B Fintech landscape.

Role involves:
  • Planning and executing PR programs to grow Aspire’s reputation and brand awareness.
  • Driving the strategy to deliver product news and PR campaigns.
  • Building up and working with local spokespeople and the leadership team.
  • Leveraging existing media relationships and building new ones.
  • Delivering consistent media coverage, speaking opportunities, and awards submissions.
  • Championing PR internally and lending functional expertise across the business.

Requirements:
  • Experienced PR leader, comfortable being the first PR hire.
  • World-class communicator and storyteller.
  • Experience managing people and developing PR talent.
  • Pre-established list of relevant press contacts.
  • Knowledge of high-performing PR teams and collaboration with other functions.
  • Experienced in crisis communications and reputational risk management.
  • Ability to create headlines and secure coverage without major product announcements.
  • Experienced working with company leaders and building profiles of spokespeople.
  • Experienced creating and delivering awareness-building campaigns and guerrilla marketing concepts.
  • Understanding of fast-paced startup culture.
  • Established background in Fintech, finance, banking, payments (or similar).
